10 Things I Love About Being a Mom (This Month)

Yes, here they are in random order.

  1. When I'm walking along and a little hand shows up in mine.
  2. Holding a sleeping child.
  3. Talking in bed with giggly girls before falling asleep for the night.
  4. Reading aloud.
  5. Being in the kitchen cooking and hearing the words "That smells GREAT, Mom!"
  6. Listening to children singing in the backseat of the car.
  7. When a child volunteers to wash my bare feet in her bath.
  8. Always having a reason to be outside in beautiful weather.
  9. Morning cuddles in bed.
  10. Playing with Playmobil.

    I love how there is a huge, worn down, grass-less, dirt patch under the swing. I'm betting that area gets a ton of use. I remember my childhood swing looking exactly the same :)
