I was on my way up the non-profit ladder when I had my first daughter, and never came back to work. I was just soo much in love with my daughter. I could not imagine leaving her with anyone else. There have been days when I would not have traded staying home for the world and other times I feel that it would have been easier to let the daycare parent my children.Lisa - the Granola Catholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09020431743182581746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1168618921375018234.post-82778184851666893612011-07-14T13:13:15.688-04:002011-07-14T13:13:15.688-04:00Thank you for this post. I included you in my Inspiration Thursday post this week because a spark just went off in my head when I read this. I also completely agree with you that the parent-child relationship comes first. I love how you've captured a beautiful parenting style with your 3 C's.Sylvia@MaMammaliahttp://mamammalia.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1168618921375018234.post-809087177927338872011-07-12T20:32:07.824-04:002011-07-12T20:32:07.824-04:00your post made me thankful again for having been a...your post made me thankful again for having been able to change focus. I used to work 10-12 hours in a law firm and yes, i still miss it. but being able to go home before the sun sets, and being able to spend some time playing with my toddler makes the switch to an alternative career worth it!Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18428005226096449722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1168618921375018234.post-3860270575435671772011-07-12T20:23:25.159-04:002011-07-12T20:23:25.159-04:00Awesome post! Funny how they halted us in our professional tracks eh? You 3C's are invaluable and worth printing and tacking to the fridge as a reminder during my less than stellar moments as a mama. Every choice, every interaction with our child, has the ability to bring connection or division in our relationship.Rosemaryhttp://her.joshandrosemary.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1168618921375018234.post-45896870249784731592011-07-12T07:56:18.268-04:002011-07-12T07:56:18.268-04:00I need to print out some of these thoughts and sti...I need to print out some of these thoughts and stick them up on my walls.
